Surfcast Wales Results for 2 January 2011

Well a Happy New Year to all and what a cracking start to the New Year it was. A cold day with little wind but everyone warmed up pretty quick a few good casts under their belts. Distances were down a little on previous events but this was due to conditions rather than too much Christmas turkey. And with lots of presents to be had in our fun day raffle it looked as if Santa had paid a visit to the field.
A good humoured battle was had between a few of the casters swapping the lead a few times before Christian Brayley topped out with a cast over 223m to take top spot. Showing that even after almost a year out of competition what a great caster he is.
