Conditions – Wind variable SSW 0-5mph, Sunny - 34 casters.

Records tumbled as Mr Boyt did the business with the furthest cast ever at Norton,

with relative new boy Jason Carter not far behind.

It was astonishing that such distances would be reached with only a light breeze and temps up in the 30s all day.

The heat was such that several casters left early (maybe some to watch the football).

Also well done to all those others gaining PBs,

amongst them Didier Laroy who came across from the continent with a party of seven other casters.
